03. 5-Step Claude Desktop Integration Guide
STEP 1. Prepare Claude Desktop Application
Download, install, and log in to the Claude Desktop App from the official page (claude.ai/download).
STEP 2. Configure claude_desktop_config.json File
Open the configuration file path in File Explorer and add the VisualPro MCP Server execution block.

STEP 3. Restart Claude Desktop App
Save the configuration, completely exit the Claude Desktop App (including system tray), and restart to synchronize MCP settings.
STEP 4. Verify & Toggle MCP Connector
Click the '+' icon or Connector menu at the bottom of the Claude chat window, verify that 'VisualPro MCP' is listed, and switch Toggle to On.
STEP 5. Start Conversational VisualPro Safety Analysis
Once connected, ask Claude using natural language prompts such as 'Execute FMEA failure mode analysis' or 'Verify Safety Mechanisms'.
